The Lehigh Acres Chamber of Commerce recently formalized its Economic Development Committee into a semi-independent "Lehigh Acres Economic Development Board" with its own officers and its own independent financial resources. The Lehigh Acres Economic Development Board (a.k.a. Lehigh Acres EDB) is currently holding monthly meetings and developing its own website.The Lehigh Acres EDB will continue to also co-exist and mutually support Lee County Economic Development. Also, Florida Gulf Coast University has a small business development center that we highly encourage our businesses to utilize.
