Chamber Receives Certification of Excellence The Lehigh Acres Chamber has achieved the prestigious designation of Certified Chamber of Commerce© in Florida. The designation was approved by the Florida Association of Chamber Professionals last week.
A Certified Chamber of Commerce© meets standards of excellence and validates the Certified Chamber of Commerce as existing for the purpose inherent in the time-honored tradition of a chamber of commerce. The Certified Chamber of Commerce© assures businesses joining the chamber that they are investing in a not for profit corporation whose revenues are utilized for business and public good and not personal gain. The Lehigh Acres Chamber is one of only 36 chambers in Florida to achieve the Certified Chamber of Commerce© designation. The designation will be reevaluated after five years to ensure the chamber continues the high standards set by the certification process. As the recognized professional and organizational development association for chambers and chamber professionals in the state, FACP serves over 150 members throughout Florida.
