Leadership Lehigh provides a hands on program where participants view systems up close, work together to achieve a unique knowledge of resources and services available in our area, region and state. Leadership Lehigh is an organized training ground for our community’s future leaders.
Leadership Lehigh has four specific objectives:
· Identify Community Leaders.
· Expand the leadership potential of the participants by increasing their knowledge of Lehigh Acres.
· Improve communications between present and future leaders in the community.
· Provide a channel for those presently not in leadership roles to gain access to positions of community leadership in an informed
and responsible manner.
Sessions began August 11, 2010, and continue at roughly every other week. Sessions include:
· Healthcare Day
· Utilities & Environment Day
· Media Day
· Industry Day
· Agriculture Day
· Public Safety Day
· County Government Day
· Arts & Non-Profit Day
· Education Day
